Hi friends, I decided to share a word of caution from my current experience flying out of Amsterdam on what was advertised as a really affordable ticket. After buying, I was stunned to see added charges for checked baggage and even seat selection added to my final bill. It's disappointing because what looks like a bargain ends up costing quite a bit more. If you're flying from Amsterdam on budget airlines, I'd encourage double-checking their baggage and seating fees beforehand to avoid unwelcome surprises. Has anyone found reliable strategies to spot or avoid these unexpected costs? Would enjoy to hear your suggestions.
